My Vintage singer Hand Cranked Sewing Machine which I believe to be a Genuine Antique dating back to 1906, made by Singer the Great British Sewing Machine Manufacturer. According to web sources with a serial number of S2245420 the single prefix letter “S” before the serial Identifies as being probably 1906 manufacture but possibly 1907 making this grand old lady 107 years old and it still works.

I have been itching to share this with the world and now I can. An up market glossy magazine covering “The Pennine villages” got in touch a little while ago, after finding my facebook page, and asked if I would be interested in them doing an article on my hat making. After a nice relaxed interview a photo session and a little waiting for the next issue I received, the through the post, print copies of the magazine needless to say I was stunned to discover a full page picture of me in one of my hats and a double page spread with words an pictures. To say I’m ecstatic is an Understatement Thank You Mosaic Magazine…

Aileen’s Hats is a new site. It will be a showcase for my handmade vintage style hats and the only link you will need to bookmark if you are looking for my Vintage hats. I have now Added my new Etsy Shop” Aileens4Hats” to the earlier Ebay Links. I have also added a twitter feed so please do feel free to follow me and Finally I have also added an RSS feed to the site from My New Etsy Shop.
